We are looking for someone who will support the Registered Service Manager, to implement innovation whilst maintaining a positive environment for both those we support and our amazing staff group. This role is ideal for those ready for the next step on the career ladder.
Based in East Dunbartonshire, Ravenswood and its attached outreach service provides support for people who are at risk of or have experience of homelessness. It’s a safe, supportive environment where people can gain skills and confidence and start to plan the rest of their lives.
As a Team Leader, you will support the Registered Service Manager with the delivery of the service. You will also be responsible for ensuring a high-quality person-centred approach is delivered. It's a chance for you to showcase your confidence in your own abilities to effectively manage a team.
Shift working including evenings and weekends is a requirement of the post; night shift may also be required on occasion as well as out of hours on call. Previous working experience with the client group is preferred, and previous supervisory experience is desirable.
Great leadership skills are essential to inspire your team through leading by example and delivering high-quality, flexible person-centred support while communicating effectively across all levels and with various external professionals.

Contracted to: The post is funded until 31 March 2026 by The Scottish Government’s Delivering Equally Safe Fund. Contracts are re-issued annually upon confirmation of funding. The post holder will be responsible, alongside senior management and the Board, to ensure continued funding thereafter.
The Supported Housing Worker role requires assisting in the management of the development, thus ensuring the tenants are able to enjoy an acceptable standard of living in an environment which is clean, safe, and friendly. You will be responsible for overseeing the wellbeing of the tenants and for assisting them in maintaining their independence.
As Housing Care Worker, your role will involve working with our tenants to ensure they receive the support and personal care identified in their care plans. You will directly support tenants in their homes by providing individual advice, practical housing support assistance, and personal care.
Both roles are to ensure that we are able to offer the best service to our tenants and make it possible for our tenants to continue enjoying as much independent living as they’re able.

About the Role:

Autism Initiatives Scotland provides a range of person-centred services throughout Scotland to people who are 16 years old and over.
Leading by example, the Team Leader will support the Area Manager in ensuring that all staff are managed and supervised effectively and that the highest level of autism-specific practice and standards are maintained. You will also manage the staff to deliver support plans to our service users and work with healthcare professionals to ensure support plans are of the highest quality. The role will involve supporting the Area Manager to implement the service development plan and lead on the achievement of the organisation's strategic aims at the service level.
The Team Leader will have responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service; therefore, you will be able to demonstrate excellent social care project management skills and have a working knowledge of current legislation relating to the social care sector.
