Job summary
Are you a motivated Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist passionate about supporting elderly patients? We have an exciting leadership opportunity for a full-time, permanent Band 7 Team Lead in our Care of the Elderly ward within the Medicine team.
This role involves clinical leadership alongside another Band 7, supporting patients in Care of the Elderly, Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, and Respiratory Medicine. We seek someone with a strong interest in frailty care, significant experience managing acute medical conditions, and expertise at Band 6 level in an NHS acute setting.
You will assess and treat patients on the Older People's Frailty ward, manage a complex caseload, and lead the therapy team. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to adapt under pressure.
You will also have opportunities for leadership development, attend conferences, collaborate with community partners, and receive ongoing training and mentorship. We welcome applications from those requiring visa sponsorship.
