Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust was established on 1 February 2011 when Monitor, the independent regulator of health services in England, authorised Derbyshire Mental Health Services NHS Trust to become a Foundation Trust.

As part of the Transforming Community Services (TCS) programme, community paediatric services and substance misuse services were also transferred into the organisation from NHS Derby City.

Job Overview

The post-holder will:

  • Provide, maintain and develop a high quality, administrative/secretarial support reflecting the professionalism of the Memory Assessment Service.
  • Provide a comprehensive secretarial service to the team including typing/word processing of letters, memos, minutes, reports, and other routine correspondence.
  • Work on their own initiative, as well as part of the wider Administrative Team and demonstrate a willingness to help others and be a key member of the team with responsibility for allocated tasks.

Advert

  • The post holder will ensure the delivery of a comprehensive high quality secretarial and administrative service to the Psychiatrists, Clinical Nurse Specialist, and the Memory Assessment Service (MAS) Team.
  • To coordinate appointments, booking rooms in a variety of settings across the county of Derbyshire, in both NHS Trust premises and external venues.
  • Register new referrals on SystmOne (EPR) for referrals received.
  • To provide a comprehensive, high quality secretarial and administrative service to the Psychiatrists, Clinical Nurse Specialist, and the Memory Assessment Service Clinical Team.
  • To manage and prioritise own workload to meet strict deadlines.
