Overview
We are currently working with a multitude of schools in Preston, Chorley, Leyland and surrounding areas. At the moment, we are receiving an extremely high demand for teaching assistants and specifically qualified teaching assistants (level 2 or 3). This is for a variety of roles in differing age ranges (EYFS-Y6) and differing roles (general class TA, 1:1 TA, SEN TA, Intervention group TA). With such a high volume of work we are confident we can find you the role you desire.
Level 2 or 3 TA Requirements
- Be able to work alongside class teacher and other support staff
- Provide constructive feedback regarding pupil progression
- Assist in making the work accessible for all learners
- Provide a safe, engaging, and enjoyable work environment for all pupils
- Be able to work as part of a team and independently if necessary
- Use a variety of different resources according to the teachers' plans
- Flexibility to be able to switch roles within the classroom is needed
- Passion for working with young people and the desire to provide them with the best educational experience possible
- Ability to build relationships quickly while setting clear boundaries with pupils
- Follow and implement the school's behaviour policies
These positions are available for all level 2 or 3 qualified teaching assistants. We understand that some TAs may have only recently qualified and won't have an abundance of experience. Please do not be deterred by this; we can provide the experience you require.
