Job Description:

An inclusive school in the heart of Bromley is seeking dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistants to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supporting classroom teachers and working with students on a one-to-one basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide one-to-one support to students as needed.
  2. Assist the classroom teacher in managing and delivering lessons to KS1 and KS2 students.
  3. Implement strong behavioral management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment.
  4. Support students with their academic, social, and emotional development.
  5. Prepare and organise classroom materials and resources.
  6. Assist in the planning and execution of classroom activities and educational outings.
  7. Monitor and record students' progress and report it to the classroom teacher.
  8. Ensure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience as a classroom Teaching Assistant.
  2. Experience working with KS1 and KS2 students.
  3. Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
  4. Strong behavioral management skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  7. Flexibility and adaptability to meet the needs of the students and the school.
  8. A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
