Job description

Teaching Assistant - Level 2 or 3 Full-Time Immediate Start Haringey Primary School
Monday to Friday 8:30am - 3:30pm Haringey Long-term role

We are working on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Haringey that is looking to appoint a qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or 3) for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive staff team and make a real impact in the classroom.

About the Role:

  • Provide classroom support across the whole class, as well as work with small groups and individual pupils
  • Confidently deliver targeted interventions in phonics, reading, and maths
  • Work closely with the class teacher to adapt learning and ensure all pupils are making progress
  • Be flexible to support across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 as required

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Be confident in delivering academic interventions and supporting core subjects
  • Have a proactive and adaptable approach to working in a school environment
  • Ideally have experience supporting SEND in a mainstream classroom (this is desirable but not essential)
  • Be committed to helping every child reach their full potential

This is a full-time, long-term position with working hours of 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
