An established industry player is seeking an individual to assist with the marking of modules in an MSc program focused on addiction studies. This role involves supporting the International Programme in Addiction Studies offered online by a prestigious university. The successful candidate will contribute to the assessment of critical issues and psychological interventions in addiction treatment, working collaboratively with academic staff. Assistance will be provided to the International Programme in Addiction Studies (IPAS), an MSc program offered fully online by King’s College London in collaboration with universities in the US and Australia. The IPAS is housed within the Addictions Department at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience. You will be expected to assist with the marking and second marking of two modules focused on critical issues and psychological interventions in the treatment of addiction. The total expected time commitment for supporting these marking activities is 20 hours.
A good first degree (2:1 above) in a related field (e.g. psychology, social sciences). A Master's Degree and PhD in addictions or related field.
Strong knowledge of the addiction field, particularly in addiction research. Experience in grading essays, exams, and treatment plans. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in writing. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines for marking returns.
