Teaching Assistant

Schools around Cambridgeshire are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join their teams and support the learning and development of their pupils. Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

• Support the teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
• Work with individuals or small groups of children to support their learning
• Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of learning materials
• Encourage and support pupils with additional needs to access the curriculum
• Supervise children during break times and support their social development

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

• Have experience working with children in a school or educational setting
• Hold a relevant qualification (such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) or have equivalent experience
• Are patient, caring, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning
• Have good communication and teamwork skills as a Teaching Assistant
• Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
