Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? Do you have experience working with children who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, or Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)?

Teaching Personnel are working with a specialist school in Lymington catering to pupils aged 11-16 with SEMH and ASC. Their mission is to provide a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.

We're Looking for Teaching Assistants:

We have both part-time and full-time positions available for enthusiastic, compassionate, and committed individuals to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students in their academic and social development, working closely with teachers to provide tailored support that meets the individual needs of each pupil.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils with SEMH and ASC to engage in lessons and activities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Provide one-on-one and group support, encouraging students’ independence.
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualized learning plans.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider school team, including teachers and specialists.

Ideal Candidates:

  • Experience working with young people with SEMH and/or ASC is desirable but not essential.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting pupils.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A passion for helping students overcome challenges and achieve success.
