Masterclass Education are currently working with an “outstanding rated” independent Secondary School within the Brighton area that provides high quality education to a broad range of students from ages 11-18.


Role & Responsibilities

As a Teaching Assistant, your main focus will be:

  1. To support a wide range of students supporting learning, create a positive environment and add structure throughout the school day.
  2. Work closely to provide extra support to students who may have a range of needs, including but not limited to ADHD, Autism, emotional and mental health challenges.
  3. Help the teacher with lesson preparation and plans.
  4. Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
  5. Supervise students during breaks and school activities.

What We're Looking For:
  1. Previous experience working with children, young or vulnerable adults.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to build positive relationships.
  4. A calm and patient approach.
  5. A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
