Academics, a well-established and trusted education supply agency based in Halifax, is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Supply Teaching Assistants to join our team and work within a variety of schools located in the Spen Valley area.

The Role:

As a Supply Teaching Assistant with Academics, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students across different age groups and educational settings. You will work under the guidance of qualified teachers to provide valuable assistance in the classroom, contributing to a positive and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities May Include:

1. Supporting classroom teachers in the delivery of engaging and differentiated lessons.
2. Working with small groups of students to provide targeted academic or pastoral support.
3. Assisting students with their learning activities, ensuring understanding and engagement.
4. Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a supportive atmosphere.
5. Preparing classroom resources and assisting with administrative tasks as required.
6. Supervising students during various activities, including break times and transitions.
