I am looking for a teacher to help me learn Brazilian Portuguese. I used to be fluent in Spanish as I spent nearly 10 years living/going to school in a public Spanish school.
I have tried other methods such as Duolingo to learn Portuguese, but find the vocabulary can be so similar to Spanish that I feel I am just using my basic Spanish vocab to guess the answer.
I think I need to focus on learning structures more and verb endings. My partner is Brazilian, and this is the reason I would like to learn, as I would like to explore different settings, e.g., work, in the future.
