Are you a dedicated educator in or near Sutton looking to make a difference to pupils with Special Educational Needs?

One of our wonderful schools rated 'Outstanding' from OFSTED with a SEN base is looking for a qualified teacher who has experience working with and adapting lessons to support children with additional needs. Whether you have experience in a SEN specialist school or not, as long as you are confident working with EHCPs and adapting teaching methods and have a clear passion for helping students with additional needs, we would like to hear from you!

Expectations/ About the Role:
  1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons using innovative methods to foster curiosity and excitement in the classroom.
  2. Create a nurturing learning environment tailored to each student's needs, promoting personal development and well-being alongside the academic curriculum.
  3. Facilitate communication and interaction opportunities to empower students to express themselves, engage with others, and contribute to the world around them.
  4. Foster emotional regulation and resilience to support positive mental health and well-being outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with a team of professionals to create a positive learning environment.
  6. Build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
SEN Primary School Teacher Must:
  1. Be a qualified Primary School Teacher with QTS.
  2. Have expert knowledge of Special Educational Needs and how to adapt learning styles.
  3. Experience teaching students with a range of special educational needs.
  4. Have or be able to apply for a DBS on the update service.
