An established industry player is seeking a knowledgeable A-Level Teacher of Sociology and Psychology to join their partnership school in the Staffordshire Moorlands. This full-time long-term role, commencing in April 2025, offers the chance to inspire students in Key Stage 4 and 5 through engaging lessons and creative curriculum development. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant Social Sciences qualification and UK QTS/QTLS, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a strong track record in behavior management. We are currently looking to recruit a knowledgeable and experienced A-Level Teacher of Sociology and Psychology for one of our partnership schools in the Staffordshire Moorlands. This is a full-time long-term role that will commence in April 2025 (after the Easter break); however, our school will also consider part-time options for the right candidate, if preferred.

Role Requirements

Hold the relevant Social Sciences qualification with (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) and UK QTS/QTLS (Qualified Teaching Status).
Be a confident communicator; along with excellent behaviour management, and can build good rapport with students and fellow staff.
Deliver exciting and engaging lessons using your own initiative and have a good knowledge of the national curriculum.
A strong track record of creatively developing curriculum content and ensuring positive results in teaching Sociology and Psychology to learners in Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (you will be required to teach to A-Level).
Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service or be prepared to apply for a new DBS with ourselves (cost applied).

Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, and the client rate that is available.
