Job description

We are looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic person to join our highly successful and inclusive Sixth Form College. The successful candidate will be a committed, inspirational and dynamic individual with a passion for teaching.


Physics is part of our Faculty for Science, Social Science and Care. The college offers a wide range of courses in this area including BTEC Extended Diploma Applied Science, BTEC Medical Science and Level 2 Applied Science as well as A levels in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and BTEC Engineering. This role would involve teaching across Level 3 and Level 2 provision in the faculty, specialising in Physics. The faculty has dedicated teaching and specialist spaces including laboratories. The faculty also supports a range of extra-curricular activity to enrich the taught curriculum.

The college is situated in pleasant surroundings to the east of Southampton with excellent local transport links. Sixth Form Teacher Pay Scale Currently FTE £32,178 - £49,725 p/a
