Teacher of PE

A secondary school in Andover is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, promoting health, fitness, and teamwork through a varied and engaging PE curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons across a range of sports and physical activities.
• Encourage students to develop their skills, fitness, and confidence in both competitive and recreational settings.
• Organise and lead extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school competitions.
• Promote the importance of physical education and healthy lifestyles.
• Work collaboratively with the department to develop and enhance the PE curriculum.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and motivation.

Qualifications:

Qualified PE Teachers (QTS/QTLS required).
️ ECTs qualifying this year looking for their first permanent teaching role.
️ Passionate about sport and physical education with strong coaching and leadership skills.
