Teacher of MFL - French

To start February - until July or permanent

This small languages department is seeking an additional French Teacher to join us on a long-term supply basis, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. If you are not looking for a permanent post, the school is happy to consider a supply only option to potentially work until Christmas whilst they recruit a permanent candidate.

Role Overview:

As a French Teacher, you will inspire and engage students in learning the French language and culture. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and contributing to the overall development of the Modern Languages department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging French lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans.
• Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent - ESSENTIAL
• Proven experience teaching French at secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for French language and culture.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
