Teacher of Maths - responsibilities:

1. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4 (with the possibility of teaching A Level for the right candidate)
2. Support students' progress through differentiated teaching and the use of innovative teaching strategies
3. Manage the classroom environment effectively, fostering a positive and focused learning atmosphere
4. Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and appropriate interventions
5. Collaborate with colleagues in the Mathematics department to ensure a cohesive and progressive curriculum
6. Contribute to the development of the school's Mathematics curriculum and teaching resources
7. Take an active role in extracurricular activities, including Mathematics clubs or competitions, to further inspire students

Teacher of Maths - requirements:

1. A strong academic background in Mathematics (a degree in Mathematics or a related field)
2. UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
3. A passion for teaching and the ability to engage and motivate students in mathematics
4. Excellent communication and organisational skills
5. The ability to differentiate lessons to cater to a wide range of learning abilities
6. A commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
7. A dedication to the professional development of themselves and others
