Salary: Outer London MPS/UPS + TLR for experienced candidates (£36,413 - £53,994)

Contract: Full-time and permanent

Start Date: September 2025

Teacher of Maths - Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and inspire the Maths department to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning.
2. Model outstanding teaching and share best practices with colleagues across the department.
3. Lead professional development and mentoring for other members of the teaching team.
4. Contribute to the creation and delivery of an engaging and challenging curriculum.
5. Monitor and evaluate student progress, ensuring strategies are in place to address areas for improvement.
6. Foster a collaborative and positive working environment within the Maths department.
7. Take an active role in school-wide initiatives to improve academic standards.
8. Be a key figure in fostering a love of Mathematics among students and promoting the subject across the school.

Teacher of Maths - Person Specification:

1. UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
2. Minimum of 2 years' experience teaching Maths at secondary level
3. A proven track record of outstanding teaching and strong subject knowledge
4. Experience in leading or mentoring colleagues, with the ability to inspire and motivate others
5. A passion for Maths and a commitment to ensuring that all students reach their potential
6. Strong communication and leadership skills
7. Ability to drive forward improvements in teaching and learning across the department
