Job Title: Teacher of Maths
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary Range: £30,000 - £46,535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start Time: After Easter 2025/September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
As a Teacher of Maths, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that engage and inspire students. You will play a key role in helping students achieve their full potential in mathematics, fostering a love for the subject, and preparing them for academic success. Whether you’re an experienced teacher or someone eager to get started in teaching, this is a rewarding and stable opportunity.

Responsibilities for a Teacher of Maths:

1. Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons according to the curriculum.
2. Manage classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining a positive learning environment.
3. Support students with their learning and ensure they remain on task.
4. Mark work where required and provide constructive feedback.
5. Report any issues or concerns to the relevant staff members.

Requirements of a Teacher of Maths:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Career Teacher (ECT), or equivalent overseas qualifications.
2. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
3. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
4. Ability to adapt to different teaching methods and strategies.
5. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
6. Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
