Position: Geography Teacher
Location: Hackney
Salary: MPS/UPS (Inner London)
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: April or September 2025

Key Responsibilities – Geography Teacher:

1. Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available).
2. Foster a love of Geography, encouraging students to think critically about the world around them.
3. Make full use of fieldwork and hands-on investigations to bring the subject to life.
4. Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential through creative teaching methods.
5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop high-quality curriculum resources and innovative teaching strategies.
6. Play an active role in the wider school community and contribute to extracurricular activities.

What We’re Looking For – Geography Teacher:

1. A qualified teacher with UK QTS and a strong subject knowledge in Geography.
2. Experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 is desirable but not essential).
3. A passionate and engaging approach to teaching, with a focus on real-world application.
4. Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for students.
5. A commitment to collaboration and professional development.
