Teacher of English - key responsibilities:

  1. Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons to students of all abilities across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  2. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student participation, creativity, and critical thinking.
  3. Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing feedback to support their academic development.
  4. Contribute to the extracurricular life of the school through activities such as clubs, reading initiatives, and school productions.
  5. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies and resources.
  6. Support students' personal and social development through a strong pastoral approach.

Teacher of English - requirements:

  1. An undergraduate degree in English, English Literature, or a related field.
  2. A UK recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
  3. A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students.
  4. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  5. Experience in teaching English at A Level is desirable.
  6. A commitment to continuous professional development and improving teaching practice.
