Permanent, part-time (0.6 FTE)
September 2025 start


Salary: MPS1 - UPS3 £31,650 - £49,084 per annum pro rata
Actual salary - £18,990 - £29,450 per annum


John Taylor Multi Academy Trust (JTMAT) believes in the power of education to improve lives – and the world. As a partner academy in JTMAT, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Design Technology to join our evolving organisation.


The successful candidate will work in a team with other specialist teachers and a full-time technician. You will be ideally experienced in teaching up to A-level; however, this post is also suitable for new entrants to the profession. We currently offer A-Level Design Technology and Level 3 Food and Nutrition alongside a broad and balanced Key Stage 3 curriculum, supported by a wide range of Design Technology enrichment opportunities.
