We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Computing/ICT to join our fantastic team at CHS South.
This is a permanent, full-time role working within our dynamic Computing/ICT Department. This role starts September 2025 and attracts a salary of Teachers Main/Upper pay scale.
We are looking for a suitably qualified candidate who can consistently deliver outstanding lessons. The ideal candidate will have thorough subject knowledge and understanding of current curriculum developments, good communication skills, and be able to plan and develop appropriate learning activities. We would also like candidates to have successful teaching experience in the relevant phase.
Main purpose of the job:
The post holder is required to fulfil the professional responsibilities which are common to all classroom teachers in the school, as outlined in the current School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document. These detail the professional and particular duties required of teachers, together with requirements for management time, working time, guaranteed planning and preparation time. The school complies with these requirements in order to make reasonable demands of teachers. The post holder’s key responsibilities will be improving the standards of learning and raising levels of student achievement for all students in their care.
