In the heart of Waltham Forest, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is on the hunt for a Teacher of Computer Science for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time contract.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Teacher of Computer Science who is keen to add value to an expanding Computer Science department. The school is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school is well invested in the education sector, setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the school!

Experienced Teachers of Computer Science can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility, 2iC, HOD, and more. Early Career Teachers of Computer Science (ECT) will be enrolled onto the school's bespoke ECT induction and will work alongside a range of young and experienced teachers.

• MPS1-UPS3 - £36,413 - £53,994 + TLR (size depending on experience)
• Located in the Borough of Waltham Forest

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
• You must be able to work as part of a large team of teachers
• Must be willing to listen to feedback
