The Role:
Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are currently recruiting for a Teacher of Business Education to join the Stewart’s Melville College on a permanent basis from 14 August 2025 (subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks). The role is full time, term time, and remuneration will be on the ESMS Teaching Staff Salary Scale A (£34,508 - £49,977 per annum). The role is based at Queensferry Road.
The Teacher of Business Education will deliver Business Management up to SQA Higher Level with National 5 Economics.
The successful candidate will have experience teaching Business Education, with a strong commitment to bringing out the best in students. They will be GTCS registered, possess excellent communication and time-management skills, and handle situations calmly and professionally. A passion for fairness, respect, and resilience, along with a desire to help students succeed, are key attributes for this role.
Eligibility: ESMS is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. The successful candidate will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
