Job description

Location: Wallace High School Airthrey Road Stirling, FK9 5HW

Wallace High School is committed to the provision of the highest standards of educational provision for each and every young person through effective learning and teaching and a robust pupil support system.

Responsibilities:

1. Exhibit dynamic classroom leadership and ensure that the highest standards of learning and teaching are delivered.
2. Ensure the fluid process of departmental monitoring and tracking.
3. Implement SQA procedures and paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Deliver on the key drivers and priorities within the National Improvement Framework, focusing on ongoing faculty improvement priorities.

Qualifications:

You must possess GTCS registration in a subject relevant to the delivery of the Biology curriculum within the school.

This post is temporary to cover a period of maternity leave within the faculty.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children.
