Responsibilities

Exhibit dynamic classroom leadership and ensure that the highest standards of learning and teaching are delivered.
Ensure the fluid process of departmental monitoring and tracking.
Accurately implement SQA procedures and paperwork in a timely manner.
Deliver on the key drivers and priorities within the National Improvement Framework, focusing on ongoing faculty improvement priorities.

Qualifications

You must possess GTCS registration in a subject relevant to the delivery of the Biology curriculum within the school.

This post is temporary to cover a period of maternity leave within the faculty.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified. It is Stirling Council’s policy to ask that you pay for this if you are on point 4 or above of the main-grade teachers scale.
