Aspire People are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Biology to join our successful client school in Lambeth. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Teacher of Biology who is committed to inspiring and supporting students.

As a Teacher of Biology, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and ideally Key Stage 5. You will inspire students to develop a love for Biology, encouraging them to think critically, explore scientific concepts, and apply their knowledge to real-world situations.

Teacher of Biology - Responsibilities:

1. Plan, deliver, and assess engaging Biology lessons that challenge and inspire students
2. Promote a deep understanding of biological concepts and their application
3. Provide feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic potential
4. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and development
5. Contribute to the development of the science curriculum and departmental initiatives
6. Participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs or field trips, to further enrich students' learning
7. Engage in professional development opportunities to continue growing as an educator

Teacher of Biology - Requirements:

1. UK QTS or on track to achieve by September 2025
2. An excellent UK undergraduate degree in Biology or a related field
3. Strong subject knowledge
4. Excellent communication and classroom management skills
5. A commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration with colleagues
6. Experience teaching at GCSE and A-Level is desirable but not essential for the right candidate - ECT applications are welcomed
