The Role:

As an Automotive Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that combine both practical workshop training and theory-based learning. Your role will include:

1. Teaching students across a range of levels, from basic motor vehicle maintenance to advanced diagnostics
2. Delivering hands-on training in a fully equipped workshop environment
3. Providing structured theory lessons on key automotive principles and industry standards
4. Assessing students' practical and written work, offering feedback and support for their progress
5. Encouraging students to develop the technical skills and knowledge required for a successful career in the automotive industry

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for an experienced Automotive professional who is enthusiastic about mentoring and developing students. A teaching qualification (such as a PGCE or Cert Ed) is desirable, but we welcome applications from industry professionals who are willing to train as educators. Ideal candidates will have:

• Relevant Automotive qualifications (such as NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent)
• Strong industry experience with up-to-date knowledge of vehicle technology and diagnostics
• A passion for training and mentoring students
• Great communication skills and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment
