Our Tax Technology team is dynamic and fast-paced, offering ample scope for progression and the chance to make a significant impact on RSM nationally, with potential to influence on a global scale driving the digital transformation within the Tax business.

As a Tax Technology Junior Business Analyst in our Birmingham or London office, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our tax function by bridging our tax technologists with the wider tax service line. Your focus areas will be to support with the identification and documentation of intelligent automation requirements, support with the delivery of projects, completion of business cases, assessment of third-party technology vendor partnerships as well as ensuring our operations and governance processes are followed.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Supporting and coordinating a variety of multiple development projects.
• Supporting with the training and upskilling of our tax department to help them make better use of the technology available.
• Working in collaboration with the wider tax function to ensure technical knowledge and commercial insight gained in any area of tax technology is shared within the wider team and capitalised on to drive new ideas and enhanced solutions to benefit our Tax Team.
• Being proactive and keen to be involved in a variety of projects from initiation to rollout.
• Developing your level of technical knowledge through personal development opportunities.
• Supporting colleagues in the Tax Technology team to proactively seek new opportunities.

• Experience of supporting/managing multiple projects within fast-paced teams.
• Experience of project planning and governance procedures.
• High level of attention to detail and adherence to processes.
• Commercially minded.
• Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills.

Desirable

• A background in professional services and/or tax technology environments.
• Experience and knowledge of tax compliance processes.
• PRINCE 2 qualification.
