TaxScouts was founded by early employees and alumni of Europe’s leading startups (TransferWise, Skype, MarketInvoice), and we’re on the lookout for like-minded accountants to partner with us.

Who Are We Looking For?

Are you a qualified Tax Technician looking to expand your practice and take on more clients—without the hassle of marketing and admin? We partner with experienced professionals who specialise in self-assessments and want to work in a flexible, digital-first environment.

If you have a strong track record in self-assessment tax returns, capital gains tax, rental income, foreign income, and other key areas, we’d love to hear from you.

Partnership requirements

  1. Be a UK resident
  2. ATT-qualified (or equivalent tax qualification)
  3. Have over 5 years of experience
  4. Have professional indemnity insurance minimum value of 500K
  5. Have an HMRC agent account
  6. Have up-to-date practising certificates
  7. Using tax software such as Taxfiler, Iris Elements, Sage, Capium, Nomisma, BTC
  8. Able to devote 20+ hours a week.
  9. Have experience with a range of self-assessments including foreign income, and capital gain shares - RSUs.

Partnership benefits

  6. Automated document requests and update emails – we update the customer every step of the way and ensure they provide the information you need with our automated reminder emails.
  7. A platform built from the ground up ensuring the process is as simple as possible catering to customers' needs to gather the information required for their return.
  8. No platform or subscription fees.
  9. Keep track of your earnings directly from your TaxScouts dashboard, along with customer retention and other key data.
  10. Product improvements – our accountant partners are an integral part of our product development and have direct input into the features we build, and future product plans.
  11. Koinly integration which was built specifically for crypto traders to automate and generate capital gains tax reports (including application of the pooling & matching rules pre-applied); providing our accountants access to the information they need reducing further client admin.
  12. A designated support team ready at hand to help deal with any customer or platform issues.
  13. 96% of accountants were satisfied with the partnership expressing the platform saved them hours within the process.
