Tax Manager - Global Mobility Services, London National Markets
KPMG Overview
Joining KPMG means joining a talented team of exceptional colleagues who bring innovative thoughts and a natural curiosity to the work they do each day. No one type of person succeeds at KPMG; a diverse business requires diverse personalities, characters and perspectives. There really is a place for you here.
Why KPMG?
At KPMG, our values define who we are and the way we do business. As a leading professional services firm, we know that our strength and capability come from our people - their different perspectives, experiences and backgrounds. From our inclusive leadership strategy to our diversity and inclusion targets - we're making bold changes to who we are and what we do. Be part of it.
We are looking for a Manager to join our Global Mobility Services (GMS) tax team in our London National Markets team. The role will be based in Canary Wharf, London but we have options to consider Birmingham, Reading and other locations in the South.
KPMG's Global Mobility Service (GMS) practice is a diverse and fast-growing area of our Tax business. We serve some of the biggest names, with high-profile engagements touching every corner of world. Our GMS engagement teams are "360 degree service oriented", with tax technical, client development and client-facing responsibilities as part of each successful candidate's remit. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with a confident, outward-facing skillset, and who is willing to invest time and energy in the marketplace.
Our Global Mobility Services practice makes managing a global workforce easier, safer and more efficient. It's an exciting time to join our diverse and experienced team of over 4,000 professionals in more than 140 countries. You'll advise on complex people challenges, including future of work trends such as cross-border working, remote working and virtual assignments. Working alongside multi-disciplinary experts, such as tax, technology, immigration and mobility administration services and using some of the best technology solutions in the market, you'll have the support and tools to create opportunities for our clients - and for your career.
This team's client base has grown dramatically over the last year and continued success in the market place and recent new wins means significant growth will continue. The candidate will be ready for early assumption of managerial responsibilities and close, regular contact with our dynamic partner and director group.
Role and Responsibilities:
Qualifications and Skills:
ATT/ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
Experience and Background:
We recognise that as individuals, we each have particular needs and that one size doesn't fit all, when it comes to how, when and where you work. That's why we're proud to offer our colleagues agile working options. We believe in putting you at the centre of your career - KPMG will offer the training, development and stimulating work environment to help you get to where your career ambitions are. That's why we introduced 'Our Deal' - it's our way of saying 'thank you' for bringing your best to work. As part of 'Our Deal', you'll benefit from a range of rewards from secondment opportunities and preferential services to a day off on your birthday and have open, honest conversations about your career development.
