Job description

Robert Half Cambridge are working with a practice based in Peterborough who are seeking a Tax Assistant to join their team. This role will be responsible for corporate and income taxes for a portfolio of clients and will be their main point of contact.

This role is paying a salary of £35,000 - £45,000, depending on experience. The role offers hybrid working after the probation period; however, a presence in the office is preferable.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and reviewing Corporation tax computations
• Preparation and review of partnership, trust and personal tax returns
• Liaising directly with clients to clear queries
• Liaising with third parties such as HMRC
• Adhering to internal and statutory deadlines

Skills and Qualifications:

• ATT qualified/part qualified or qualified by experience to a similar level
• Experience managing a portfolio and being the first point of contact for your clients
• Experience of CCH software package preferred but not required
• Able to manage your own workload effectively and efficiently
