Job description

As a Senior Corporate Tax Analyst at DAZN, you will support the Tax Team by working across a range of issues from Corporate Income Tax Compliance and Reporting, Transfer Pricing and Transactions.

This hybrid role will require two days in DAZN’s London (Hammersmith) headquarters. As our new Tax Analyst you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Manage global corporate tax compliance and help to maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and global tax compliance suppliers.
  • Assist with preparing complex UK tax returns and reviewing outsourced international corporate tax returns.
  • Assist with other tax compliance including country-by-country reporting and R&D claims.
  • Prepare tax charges and provisions.
  • Manage and calculate regular tax payments and monthly cash forecasting.
  • Manage the process of obtaining tax residency certificates and similar forms to minimise withholding taxes.
  • Review and improve corporate tax processes and documentation (including balance sheet reconciliations and tax payment forecasts) and minimising the cost of withholding taxes.
  • Support senior members of the Tax team on transfer pricing, tax advisory projects and audits.

You'll have:

  • An understanding of basic tax and accounting principles/concepts (e.g., debits/credits and P&L/balance sheet presentation/impact).
  • Experience dealing with external tax/accounting service providers.
  • The ability to effectively communicate and manage relationships with both external advisors and consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • A flexible and measured approach, allowing you to handle multiple tasks in an environment with rapidly shifting priorities and unpredictable demands.

Even better (but not essential) if you have:

  • Experience with Oracle Fusion and OneSource Tax Provision.
  • Experience of preparing tax charges, provisions and accounting disclosures (ideally under IFRS & UK GAAP).
  • Experience with UK or international corporate tax return preparation and review in a business environment.
  • Knowledge of other MS Office software (PowerPoint, Word, 365, etc.).
