Job description

The Role

Role: Tax Accountant - Transfer Pricing

Focus Areas: MEA, APAC, Europe, North America, LATAM

Location: London or Manchester

Key Responsibilities

  1. Preparation of local files for MEA, APAC, Europe, North America and LATAM regions.
  2. Preparation of quarterly NCC forecasts, budgets, and year-end calculations, including detailed variance analysis and FX reconciliations.
  3. Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting and posting of global costs.
  4. Collaborate on the Group CbC report and ensuring accurate data submission for the covered regions.
  5. Maintenance of the compliance calendar for MEA, APAC, Europe, NA and LATAM.
  6. Complete required compliance for intercompany loans including CT61 return completion.
  7. Liaise with advisors when needed to ensure compliance and alignment with transfer pricing strategies.
  8. Support tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
  9. Stay updated with global transfer pricing legislation and ensure compliance with new regulations.
  10. Support on transfer pricing strategy and advice for the business.
Skills and Experience

Essential
  1. 2+ years of experience in transfer pricing.
  2. 5+ years of experience in accounting/international taxation.
  3. Strong understanding of accounting concepts and tax law.
  4. Strong organisational and analytical skills.
  5. Ability to extract, analyse, and review data and make appropriate recommendations.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  7. Strong desire to pursue a career in transfer pricing.
  8. Experience using an accounting system.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  10. A proactive attitude and the ability to take initiative.
  11. Ability to work remotely and effectively in a team environment, partnering well with people at all levels within an organisation.
Desirable
  1. Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
  2. Experience working in a professional business service sector.
  3. Experience handling transfer pricing in the context of global audits and compliance.
  4. Advanced knowledge of Pillar 2 regulations.
  5. Experience with transfer pricing software.
