Tax Accountant - Exciting Opportunity in Direct Tax

Salary: circa £45,000

Hybrid working: 2 days per week in the office

If so, Cedar have partnered with a renowned FMCG business looking to hire a Tax Accountant to join their dynamic and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in managing UK direct tax compliance while benefiting from exciting career growth and development prospects within a thriving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prepare annual corporation tax computations for senior review.
2. Support the preparation of annual tax provisions and disclosures for UK and group financial reporting.
3. Manage cross-border transaction direct tax compliance for the UK Group.
4. Monitor changes in tax legislation and keep the team updated.
5. Assist with corporate tax matters and collaborate with stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience:

1. ATT or CTA/CA qualified/studying OR 2-3 years' experience in tax.
2. Strong knowledge of corporation tax return processes and legislation.
3. Proficient in Excel.
4. Hands-on, detail-oriented, and adaptable to changing deadlines.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
