Target Priority Group Support Worker - temporary contract until 31 March 2026
The seven Leicestershire District Authorities alongside Rutland County Council have secured funding under the Rough Sleeping Initiative to extend their offer of support to rough sleepers and those at risk of rough sleeping within the partnership area. As part of that funding, we are now looking to recruit a further Target Priority Group Support Worker who will provide the most effective and appropriate support to meet the needs of the most complex long-term and/or repeat rough sleepers within the districts.
You will be responsible for case management, multi-agency support packages and ensuring sustained stability for any cases supported during the life of the project. You will also ensure that services are used in the most efficient manner to maximise positive outcomes for the individuals identified. If you understand the needs of complex rough sleepers, are an excellent communicator at a variety of levels and can be flexible and creative, then this is the role for you.
