International Buildings Main Contractor operating in the Life Science, Data, Technology & Industrial space of Construction. Group is in 10 different countries and are entering an exciting growth phase into new countries and clients. With this comes the kinetic pace of project awards, mobilization, talent pooling and hiring.
Reporting directly into the Chief People Officer, you will be responsible for a lean team and you will be hands-on in your approach to work. Leading from the front in everything you do from pre-screening interviews, agency supplier reviews, upskilling your recruitment team providing internal and external training.
You will hands-on manage and handle the offer process for candidates earning annual packages between £50-220,000 Per Annum across the group. You will have the soft skills, commercial acumen and experience in the industry to have a genuine “gut feeling”.
Role is most certainly not for the faint-hearted as it will involve travel, lots of multi-tasking, and working to tight deadlines.
You will need to be highly organized, target-driven, and focused at work. For the right person, this is an exciting opportunity. However, it is not for someone thinking they are taking the “easy option” of going internal as the internal management will want results.

This is a strategic appointment & investment in the Talent team to upskill the capability and set in strong working procedures implementing technology and systems to help support the hiring managers and internal talent team. This role isn’t to decrease the agency spend but to ensure that the flow of processes across the board works well and is visible to all involved. Can you educate hiring managers but also relate to their pressures and needs to find solutions for all parties in the business?

They would like this person to be based near to the office just outside of Chorleywood Junction 18 on the M25 (West London). Due to the nature of the role and fast-paced environment, they are not looking for anyone that’s based further than a 45 Minute commute.
Part of your role will be to get the buy-in from managers and stakeholders to help in all aspects of the role. You will form part of the senior management team, so it’s important you are prepared to get out on site, meet people, and build relationships. Certain aspects can be done behind a computer but not all!
