This brand-new Talent and Leadership Specialist role will own and oversee our proposition, ensuring we're firmly future focused and meeting the needs of the business.
The Talent and Leadership Specialist role involves guiding the development and implementation of the Talent and Leadership Management frameworks at NFU Mutual, resulting in a mature and integrated approach to building effective Talent and Leadership pipelines to meet our core responsibility to ensure that we hold resilient succession plans in place for critical roles. This involves designing and delivering enterprise-wide frameworks, processes and resources that operationalise strategy to effectively and systematically attract, onboard, develop, engage, deploy and retain high performing employees, while using analytics and data-driven insights to continuously improve these initiatives. Additionally, you'll play a key role in developing core assessment tools and frameworks that support career development, ensuring employees are well-prepared for both current and future organisational needs.
A core element of this role is the provision of expert guidance in identifying and addressing the growth needs of NFU Mutual's leaders at all levels. You'll oversee the design and delivery of leadership development solutions that align with the company's culture and business objectives, working to build a strong leadership community. Leveraging external thought leadership and innovative methods, you'll ensure the delivery of top-tier executive development options.
Key to successful delivery in this role will be driving adoption of the strategy and frameworks and will involve providing consultancy and strategic support to business partners to effectively embed talent and leadership frameworks. As a subject matter expert, you will use insights from industry trends and emerging technologies to influence and foster a performance-driven culture that supports NFU Mutual's long-term strategic goals.
You'll have experience of building strong relationships and collaborating across teams to align talent management and leadership development initiatives with broader business objectives. Your ability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders, including executives, will be key to driving talent strategies forward. With your proven track record of facilitating impactful discussions and providing expert guidance, innovation and creativity, you'll ensure that leadership development solutions and talent initiatives are culturally aligned. Additionally, you'll confidently use data-driven insights to inform decision-making, and support effective talent and performance management.
