Talent Acquisition Specialist

Our client is searching for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to take the lead in sourcing and attracting talent for their London vacancies. The role is initially a 9-month contract with the view of going permanent in January 2026. Talent Acquisition Responsibilities
Recruitment & Talent Strategy (50%)

• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and selection criteria.
• Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent.
• Conduct interviews and guide hiring teams on best practices.
• Enhance employer branding and boost online presence in collaboration with Communications.

Candidate & Employee Experience (40%)

• Provide guidance to hiring managers on job descriptions, adverts, and recruitment methods.
• Ensure a smooth onboarding experience, working closely with L&D and People Partners.
• Maintain communication with new hires during their first six months to ensure engagement.
• Collect feedback to improve the candidate journey and overall hiring experience.

Reporting & Compliance (10%)

• Track and report key hiring metrics, including time-to-fill and source effectiveness.
• Ensure all recruitment activities comply with employment laws and internal policies.
• Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and negotiate cost-effective hiring solutions.

Requirements
What We’re Looking For

• Proven Experience: Significant in-house recruitment experience managing multiple UK vacancies across a broad spectrum of roles.
• Strategic Mindset: Ability to implement process efficiencies and improve hiring workflows.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR systems (e.g., Cascade IRIS).
• People-Centric Approach: Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills.
• Knowledgeable: Understanding of employment law related to recruitment practices.

Location: Westminster / Victoria – 2 x days in the London office (flexibility available)
Hours: 36.25 per week
Commence: April 2025 (no more than a one month notice is viable)
