Due to the nature of the role, you may be required on occasion, to travel to our other offices across Merseyside and Manchester for meetings and interviews.

The role

This is a really exciting opportunity for someone looking for a career in internal recruitment. Whether you have previously worked in in-house or agency recruitment or have transferable skills that you think would make you a great fit for our team, we would love to hear from you!

Working in recruitment at Regenda is really unique as the group is made up of 9 different companies, spanning everything from housing, construction and sustainability, through to care and support, education and training and of course our four charities. We do not expect you to be a specialist in all of these sectors, but a generalist approach to proactive recruitment is imperative.

Day to day you will be responsible for:

• End-to-end management of recruitment processes
• Speaking with internal teams and managers to understand their hiring needs
• Advertising new vacancies
• Screening applications and reviewing CVs
• Proactive recruitment including headhunting and networking
• Conducting initial telephone conversations with shortlisted candidates and arranging interviews
• Attending in-person interviews and assessment centres when required
• Onboarding new starters, using our new in-house onboarding system, ensuring correct right to work checks have been completed

The right fit

• You will ideally have a track record of successfully recruiting candidates and managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
• A background in either customer service, sales, in-house recruitment, agency recruitment or temporary staffing is preferable, but this is not essential providing you can demonstrate the relevant skills and aptitude.
• You will have a strong command of the English language and be confident speaking with people on the phone and over email.
• Ideally, you will have prior experience working with IT systems, although full training will be provided on our in-house system.
• This role is fast-paced and ever-changing, so it is essential that you have a resilient mindset with a 'can do' approach to problem-solving and an outcome-focused approach when carrying out your work.
• This role will require you to manage multiple live vacancies at any one time, so you will need to be confident in your organisation skills and time management.
• Ultimately, we can train the right person on most aspects of the role, but it is essential that you have a real passion for wanting to help people find their dream role here at Regenda!
