GSL Education are offering a fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic and caring Graduate Teaching Assistants to join supportive schools in Scunthorpe. This is a great chance to gain hands-on experience working with children, while supporting their learning and development in the classroom.

About the Role:
As TA Graduates, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils succeed both academically and emotionally. This role is perfect for graduates looking to pursue a future in teaching, educational psychology, or child development.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support students during lessons, helping them understand and stay focused.
2. Provide one-to-one and small group support where needed.
3. Assist with classroom management and behaviour.
4. Help prepare learning materials and set up activities.
5. Build positive relationships with students and staff.
6. Support children with additional needs, if required.
7. Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure student safety.

What We’re Looking For:

1. A degree in any subject – Psychology, Education or related fields are desirable.
2. A passion for working with children and helping them achieve their best.
3. A patient, friendly and proactive attitude.
4. Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
5. Previous experience working with children is a bonus, but not essential.
6. An up-to-date CV covering the last ten years (with no unexplained gaps).
7. An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one).
