Job description

As an Systems Management Officer, you will be responsible for defining and implementing application management processes to ensure the smooth operation across a portfolio of line of business applications.

This role involves managing resources to deliver high-quality Application Management services, covering a wide range of technologies including Client Server Application Software, Web Applications, Database Systems, and more. You will ensure that these services meet service level agreements, budget constraints, and quality targets. Additionally, you will develop comprehensive support plans and strategies, manage third-party support contracts, and oversee the entire lifecycle of application management, from planning, implementation, documentation, and decommissioning.

Your work will support various user environments, including corporate settings, schools, libraries, and youth services, making a significant impact on both business operations and community services.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
