The role
As a Systems Integrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. The aim of this role is to generate insights for decision support to improve and maintain equipment availability for the British Army.
Day-to-day, you’ll establish a strategic partnership with Babcock Corporate Services, external partners and developers and the customer for the effective operation and integration of both existing and new tools and systems to drive decision support activity. Focusing on the facilitation of data improvement, and providing valuable insights through specialist skills, enabling evidence-based decision making and integration with customer systems and data & analytics initiatives.
Provide expert and proactive analytical direction and coherence across Land Defence Equipment in relation to data quality, tools, and system integration.
Act as the subject matter expert for internal and external tools and systems and their integration for the Information Exploitation and Insights department, ensuring a regular flow of high-quality information that supports service delivery, performance monitoring, risk analysis, transformation plans and decision making.
Elicit requirements from stakeholders and produce conceptual models.
Engage the Information and Insights teams to support systemised implementation of requirements.
Act as the data quality owner across LDE, championing the benefits of a data driven culture and facilitates the data’s adoption.
This is a full time role with 37 hours per week and requires regular travel to Andover on a bi-weekly basis alongside home working arrangements.
