Systems Analyst

As a Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and maintaining our client’s platforms. You will serve as a data and infrastructure specialist, supporting the delivery and maintenance of platform applications, services, and databases. This includes managing both private and public cloud-based servers, storage, networks, and security components. Your excellent troubleshooting skills and technical expertise will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of their platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide internal and external technical support for platform solutions.
• Serve as a designated technical resource for a strategic partner, aiming for first-time issue resolution.
• Conduct platform infrastructure and database administration across a geographically diverse environment.
• Undertake project workstreams focused on platform systems and infrastructure enhancements.
• Monitor resource metrics to proactively identify and resolve potential issues.
• Collaborate with product development and CI/CD engineering teams to implement cloud-first customer solutions.
• Process product enhancements through the release pipeline, ensuring smooth deployments to production and non-production environments.

Requirements

You have:

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL database architecture and SQL development.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) within cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• A background in managing load-balanced web and API endpoints on a Microsoft stack.
• Expertise in network security solutions and appliances.
• An understanding of encryption and handling of cryptography artefacts.
• 4+ years of experience in a relevant engineering role.
• A valid Azure qualification (preferred).
