The IT Systems Administrator is responsible for ensuring the seamless operation and security of CrowdProperty's IT infrastructure and end point management, supporting both office-based and remote employees. This position plays a crucial role in facilitating efficient communication and collaboration across all teams. By managing network systems, providing technical support, and implementing IT solutions, the IT Systems Administrator ensures that all employees have reliable access to the tools and resources necessary to achieve their objectives and drive the company's success.

Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of key duties, including but not limited to:

  • Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and software systems.
  • Maintain and support onboarding and offboarding procedures as relevant to managing user access to internal systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues to both office and remote employees.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the security and integrity of data.
  • Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects and upgrades.
  • Maintain documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
  • Undertake any other duties which may reasonably be regarded as within the nature of the duties and responsibilities of the post, subject to the proviso that any significant, substantial, and permanent changes shall be incorporated into the job description in specific terms.
  • Undertake training and professional development as appropriate.
  • Ensure that all duties are performed in accordance with policies and company guidelines.

We expect you to demonstrate the following abilities and skills:

  • Proven experience as an IT Systems Administrator or similar role, ideally with experience of AWS and Microsoft O365.
  • Strong knowledge of network, server and application management.
  • Experience with cloud services and remote work technologies.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to support and train non-technical users.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.

Hours: 37.5hr per week – Hybrid work pattern

Pay: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
