Systems Accountant

Our client is seeking a Systems Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role offers an attractive salary range of £70,000 - £80,000 and is based in Doncaster with occasional UK travel. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the implementation and deployment of finance and integrated systems, primarily Oracle NetSuite.

What you'll do:

• Manage the Finance system structures, work streams, users and integration into associated business systems.
• Partner with the IT/technology team on upgrades, rollouts and testing.
• Maintain master data controls ensuring system compliance where necessary.
• Identify and escalate possible risk areas and enhance controls where necessary.
• Provide training and support, particularly to non-finance teams.
• Deliver the day-to-day operation and maintenance of finance systems.
• Support the processing and control of month end activities.
• Assist in defining new processes and evolve finance ways of working whilst keeping up to date on industry best practices.

What you bring:

• Extensive experience/knowledge of Oracle NetSuite.
• Strong knowledge and experience of working with Power BI / Tableau.
• Professional finance qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent.
• Solid understanding of best practice for finance systems structure.
• Understanding of financial reporting and compliance.
• Ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
