System Test Engineer

A company that designs and develops medical devices is seeking to recruit a System Test Engineer to work on a contract based in Warwickshire that is initially scheduled for 12 months with hybrid working available.

The Role

This contract will involve system level test from requirements including test case development.

This will include defining test cases for a complex embedded device across fluid, pneumatic, mechatronic and software systems.

Delivering system test deliverables for projects you will also lead the development of rigs, fixtures, procedures, methods, data capture and statistical techniques. Plus provide key input to the design to ensure testability of the product, subsystems and components.

Key Deliverables

1. Test Design and Implementation
2. Test Case Development
3. Development of rigs, fixtures, procedures, methods, data capture and statistical techniques.
4. Design, evaluate and formally document manual and automated test fixtures and rigs.
5. Construct test cases, specifications, protocols and methods for prototype, integration, verification, validation and reliability test.
6. Development of data capture, data analysis and statistical techniques and tools to enhance test capabilities and efficiency.
7. Participate in design review activities to ensure requirements and designs are testable.
8. Work within the company's Quality Management System.

Experience

Ideal candidates will have experience of system level test from requirements and test case development including lab based rig work utilising tools such as oscilloscopes, multi-meters, thermometers, pressure gauges etc.
