Reporting to the ICB Chief Finance Officer, this post will co-ordinate the day to day delivery of the system’s financial recovery programme.

This post will work closely with the CFOs of BSOL’s 6 NHS organisations, providing support where appropriate to grip & control and efficiency schemes where they relate to system or cross-organisational opportunities. They will attend weekly/monthly CFOs and the System Financial Recovery Board, reporting on progress as required. They will also liaise regularly with the NHSE appointed independent contacts for the Investigation and Intervention programme, providing assurance on progress towards financial recovery.
In addition, the post will support the identification and development of additional in-year financial recovery opportunities, engaging within the BSOL system, with other ICSs and with NHSE to ensure all opportunities are being fully realised. This will include a detailed review of the output from other systems within the Investigation and Intervention regime.
As relevant, the post will also provide additional support to the development of a rolling 3-year efficiency programme, enabling the system to demonstrate a credible plan to deliver longer term financial sustainability.
